The FarmYield DAO team and the community value the environment and take key interest in protecting it because it is our only habitat and we will take various initiatives to protect it. One of the many initiatives to be undertaken is the "Green Reward Project".

How The Project Works
The project consists of three main components: seedling providers, tree planters and maintainers, and a monitoring system.
Seedling Providers
Members who want to participate in the "Green Reward Project" can choose to become seedling providers. These members will be responsible for sourcing and providing healthy seedlings that are suitable for planting in their local environments.
Tree Planters and Maintainers
Members who want to participate in the "Green Reward Project" can choose to become tree planters and maintainers. These members will be responsible for planting the seedlings in suitable locations and maintaining them until they reach maturity. This includes regular watering, fertilisation, pruning, and pest control.
Monitoring System
The project will incorporate a monitoring system that allows members to report on their activities and progress. Members will be required to submit text and image reports that document their planting and maintenance activities. These reports will be reviewed and verified by the project team.
Incentives and Rewards
Members who participate in the "Green Reward Project" will earn FYD tokens for their planting and maintenance activities. These tokens will be tradeable for other cryptocurrencies or fiat currencies, or can be redeemed for goods and services from our marketplace or partner organisations.
The number of FYD tokens earned will be based on the number and quality of trees planted and maintained, as well as the accuracy and completeness of the monitoring reports submitted.
